Diana and Craig have created a fine example of a terraced garden carved out of the hillside along Sugar Creek. In 1993 daylillies became part of the landscape with hostas being added a couple of years later.
Today there are over 400 named cultivars of daylillies and numerous seedlings under observation along with some 800 plus registered hostas. The garden also has a collection of Japanese maples and conifers along with numerous perennials to complement the landscape.
